After a decade of operating under the DesignDivine, we decided it was time to evolve. We began searching for a new brand that would offer some continuity with the predecessor without compromising the intent of the overhaul.
The new brand needed to be sleek, tech-focused, and mature.
We started our search close to home, using the language of in-house communication and abbreviations; the DD version X series.
DD2, DD3, DD4 … and voilà, DD9.
DD9 had the best ring to it.
In the fall of 2011, we negotiated a good price for the dd9.com domain name, made the purchase, and the re-branding was under way.
