AIH Trip Manager E-Commerce Web App

In conjunction with other marketing projects, DD9 designed and built a comprehensive back-office logistics web application for AIH. The AIH Trip Manager has become the linchpin system for orchestrating travel groups abroad.

The secure, mobile-friendly app enables travelers to quickly view their daily trip itinerary alongside a feed of important notifications and updates. In addition, users can manage their personal profiles and enjoy easy access to select contact information for fellow travelers and local facilitators and purchase trip upgrades.

The site was built on the Ruby on Rails platform using the Bootstrap framework and fully responsive layouts. In addition, we developed a custom e-commerce shopping cart which integrates with Stripe payment gateway. Messaging system is powered by SendGrid.
